   Carolyn MacDonald nee Wilson

 

Carolyn MacDonald (nee Wilson), born 11 March 1959, is one of Great Britain's most successful synchronised swimmers. She was European Solo Champion in 1981, 1983 and 1985, becoming the first British woman swimmer to win a European gold medal three times in succession. With the Duet and Team wins in 1981 and 1983 Carolyn holds a total of 7 European Gold medals.

 Kerry Shacklock

 Rushmoor's Kerry Shacklock   Kerry Shacklock, born 30 October 1971, has been National Champion six times, collected two Commonwealth silver medals at the 1994 Commonwealth Games for her solo and duet (with partner Laila Vakil), won the Europa Cup in 1994 and finished seventh in the solo and teamed up with Laila for the duet to come 6th at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
Other honours were: two bronze medals at the 1993 European Championships and she came fourth in the Junior World Championships. 
 
     

    Laila Vakil Tcherniak

 Laila Vakil   Laila Vakil, born 21 March 1974, was chosen to represent Great Britain in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and came a tremendous 6th in the duet with partner Kerry Shacklock.  In Salerno, Italy, in 1991 Laila became the Worlds' Junior Figure Champion and won Silver medal in the Solo event, and furthermore is the only British Synchro Swimmer to win a medal in a World Championship.

 Olivia Federici nee Allison

Olivia Federici (nee Allison), born 13 February 1990, has competed at numerous European and World Championships and at the 2008 Beijing Olympics where she finished in 14th position in the duet event.  Following the recent 2011 World Championships in Shanghai, in which she participated with Jenna Randall who has been her partner since before the 2006 Commonwealth Games, she is currently ranked 8th in the duet. Olivia won the silver medal in the duet competition at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games and represented Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games in the duet and team events.

Alongside Jenna Randall, Olivia has formed one of the most succesful British synchronised swimming duet partnerships in history.  d is a key swimmer for the Brits in the Team event.

 

   Jenna Randall

Jenna Randall, born 20 September 1988, is a British competitor in synchronized swimming and a Commonwealth Games silver medallist.
She is also the older sister of fellow synchronized swimmer Asha Randall

Jenna first competed at the Commonwealth Games in 2006 in Melbourne where she won the silver medal in the women's solo event.  At the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India, she again won the silver medal in the women's solo event and teamed up with Olivia Allison to win silver in the women's duet.

She has competed at two Olympic Games. In Beijing 2008 she finished fourteenth in the duet event with Olivia Federici.
Jenna and Olivia were the first British synchronised swimmers to compete at an Olympics since 1992 while their appearance at the 2007 World Championships was the first by British synchro swimmers since 1998.

While at the London 2012 Games she finished ninth in the duet, again with Olivia and sixth in the team event.

In December 2011, Jenna was one of 12 British female sporting celebrities who posed for Clara Maidment a charity calendar in aid of Wellbeing of Women, in the lingerie of Nichole de Carle, wearing jewellery by Salima Hughes and Coster Diamonds.

Jenna is the most succesful British synchronised swimmer of the past decade, having won three silver medals across two Commonwealth Games and competed at three World Championships, three European Championships and the 2008 Olympic Games. 

 

Asha Randall

 Rushmoor's Asha Randall

Asha Randall, born 6 April 1990, represented Great Britain in the team event at the 2012 London Olympics.

Asha followed the footsteps of her sisters Tia and Jenna in becoming part of the British senior synchronised swimming team.  She progressed through junior levels on an international stage, competing at the 2006 World Junior Championships and the 2007 European Junior Championships. In 2008, she was selected as the reserve for the British duet team competing at the Beijing Olympic. Asha has been a regular fixture in the British Team over the past four years, competing at the 2009 and 2011 World Championships as well as the 2010 and 2012 European Championships. 

 

Vicki Lucass

Vicki Lucass, born 11 September 1990, represented Great Britain in the team event at the 2012 London Olympics.

Vicki progressed through the British junior teams to become an important part of the senior team preparing for London 2012. As a multiple national champion, she competed at one World Junior Championship and two European Junior Championships before breaking into the senior set-up in 2009.  She competed with the British team at the 2009 European Champions Cup and the World Championships in Rome later in the year. In 2010, she competed in the same two events, helping the Brits to Combination bronze at the Champions Cup before her second Worlds in Shanghai in 2011.
