COMPETITIONS

 Competitions vary greatly in length depending upon the type of Competition.  Some Competitions involve an evening only, some a whole day, and some for the whole weekend. Take some warm and dry clothing to wear between figures, you can get very cold, especially feet!!!  Suggested items are:-  Towelling Robe Poolside Shoes Socks Two Large Towels     T.Shirt Black shorts

Evening Competitions                -  6.00 - 10.00pm
Day Competitions                       -  9.00 -  6.00pm
Weekend Competitions              -  9.00am Saturday to 6.00pm Sunday

These are approximately the times, but can vary slightly according to who is organising it.

You will be given Competition Entry Forms to complete in duplicate or triplicate, depending on the Competition, by the Club's Competition Secretary.  They must be returned to her fully completed on the date that she has indicated or you will not be eligible to enter the competition.  No competition allows late entries and it is not always possible for us to chase forms that have not been received by the Competition Secretary. The following Information will be required:- Registration Number Date when Grade passed Music Identification Number and PPL Number Swimmer's signature Swimmer's date of birth and address Age group - if applicable Junior or Senior        Do remember to take your Registration Card with you to all Competitions. If you do forget you only have seven days to produce to the organising secretary after the competition.  If you are aware that you have mislaid your card before you go to a competition inform your Team Manager and she would be able to take a computer print out which is acceptable to the organising Secretary.
