Well want can we say about the weekend, apart from fantastic. From the results themselves to the support the club had, I think it was a great weekend. I may be bias but I think we should have earnt a medal for the loudest rable of supporters. We did though have a lot to cheer about, and that in no small means was down to the swimmers themselves, and the team coaches.

I know we don't seem to be the most popular club on the scene, but then neither is Manchester United or Chelsea. But the reason is generally because we have been so successful, and like those two football teams mentioned above everyone else wants to see them fail. Oh well lets just stay unpopular.

Anyway were to start. Well I can't speak about Friday night as I wasn't there, so onto Saturday and being greeted with a few showers when arriving in Gloucester, and trying to find somewhere to park. Word soon got round though that cheaper parking could be found easily round the corner in the housing estate. In fact it was free, so no worries there. Before long though and once in the pool it was quickly realised how warm it was (sorry but next year I'm wearing shorts and flip flops), and that everyone should of brought more water with them then they first thought. Anyway that was soon sorted by popping over the road to the local Asda during the breaks. It was like a synchro convention over there on Saturday and Sunday. Just don't try and park there though.

There were a few unusual results from Saturday afternoon, but I'm not here to talk about those, more about fun in the weekend, so it was back to the hotel for the evening meal and want turned out to be a disco afterwards. I thought this went really well, with the whole room to ourselves, at least it kept the embarrising dance routines within the club and not on view to the general public. It was a shame that some of the swimmers had to leave early, but I don't know who would of been more embarrased, them or the rest of the club as it's not often that you go to dinner and find yourself sitting on a table with people wearing their pyjamas (sorry ladies).
