On Saturday 8th June 2019, four of the club's combination teams competed at the South East Regional combo competition resulting in a clean sweep of gold medals for all. All the swimmers showed their best when the take the stage at K2 Crawley and wowed the judges with their choreography. As you can see it left all the swimmers and coaches smiling!
On Sunday 16th June 2019 our 13-18 combination team traveled the great distance to Glasgow to compete in the Scottish National Championships. It was well worth their long journey as the team won the Gold scoring an enormous 6 points ahead of 2nd place! well done swimmers!
Our "Champs" squad entered the Technical Team event and were placed 5th after an excellent swim of their "Diamonds" routine.
Olivia Robinson and Lucy performed in the Free Duet competition with a routine they had choreographed themselves. Lucy and Olivia were placed 7th out of 13 entries. Borbala ("Babi") Molnar performed in the Free Solo event with a brand new routine.
The whole squad had a great weekend and are looking forward to next year's competition. 🥇🥈🥉🏆
Alex Ellerington was awarded a very special award at the Synchronised Swimming National Championships this weekend. The Gemma Yates Award for endeavour. This award is presented to a swimmer who has overcome difficulties and yet continues to give 100% to synchronised swimming. The award was presented to Alex by Mr and Mrs Yates. The trophy is awarded in memory of Gemma, who swam for Walsall SSC. She represented England and had been selected to compete in the Junior Europeans before sadly passing away at the age of 16.
Alex has been a member of Rushmoor Synchronised Swimming Club since 2013.
Saturday 26th January @ 6pm, Garrison we will be holding a parent information session where you can meet the Head coach and Chair of the club and find out more about the sport and the club, including a Synchro jargain buster!
This is a great opportunity to learn more as well are ask questions so please do come along.

Club need volunteers to attend this course to be qualified as Team Managers for competitions. Parent do not need any synchro experience to fulfil this role. It is a great way to be close to the teams and swimmers during events.
Risa Darcy qualified to swim her Solo routine.
Risa was one of twelve swimmers to swim their solo routine, after coming 10th in the Figures competition.
We had a great day at SE Regional Competition.
