New Name and New Website

Rushmoor Synchronised Swimming Club has today announced that it has changed its name to Rushmoor Artistic Swimming Club.

The name change brings the club in line with world governing body FINA's decision to rename the sport, Artistic Swimming, a change introduced in a bid to capitalise on the expected interest that will surround artistic swimming during the next summer Olympic Games.

Swim England are encouraging clubs across England to follow their suit and change the name of the sport to artistic swimming in all marketing, communications and branding. All Swim England competitions will now be known as artistic swimming rather than synchro.

In recognition of this important change, Rushmoor have today launched a brand new website, complete with new logo, a fresh new look and enhanced user experience that will appeal to both existing and prospective members.
